During my two months in America, I’d have to say I shopped at Bloomingdale’s a lot. Mainly because Bloomingdale’s was having that 25% off sale But for designer brands, they were giving out $25 Bloomingdale’s giftcards for each $100 you spent So for example, if you buy $600 Gucci sneakers, then you’d get a $150 giftcard to Bloomingdale’s.
So that’s why I shopped at Bloomingdale’s a lot during my trip & I shared a lot of it in my previous fashion haul. But in today’s (part 2, I guess) I’ll be showing you the things I bought at The Kooples.
The Kooples is a European brand and it’s very expensive in Korea. I once saw a dress from there for about $500, but in America, it wasn’t even $300. So I do like to shop more in America because a lot of the brands I like are much cheaper than Korea.
It’s a dress from The Kooples. I actually wore this to the Reward Style conference in Texas & I uploaded the ootd on my instagram! It’s a floral dress I normally wear a lot of Black, but I also own a lot of Navy because they’re both in the dark range.
But there’s also my favorite color, red; I think it’s such a lovely dress! Next, I have this checkered outerwear It is a bit thick so I think it’s perfect for the winter to spring transition. This pattern is something I know for sure would wear often so I went ahead an purchased it.
All the clothes from The Kooples were 25% off! The final thing I picked up from The Kooples is actually in the laundry right now so I’ll add the try-on clip! White shorts are an essential during the spring and summertime because it matches every top! So I did want to buy a good pair; I love the quality of The Kooples and these came out during the Coachella month so these were one of many white shorts that I tried on.
But I really liked the fit of these shorts + it came with the belt so I went ahead and purchased these. There are similar department stores to Bloomingdales – Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks… And one of my favorite places to shop are the “outlet versions” such as Nordstrom Rack and Saks Fifth Off.
You can buy clothes from the past seasons for a discounted price And I want to show you guys two shirts that I bought from Saks Fifth Off And first, is this shirt that I am wearing today. It’s from Rag & Bone and it says “Merci” which translates to “Thank You” in French.
I bought it because it was cute The original price was about $95, but I bought it for about $40? It is still expensive, but I wanted to share that you can probably find your favorite brands for a discounted price at shops like this.
And the second t-shirt is this one that I wore in a recent video and it’s a red shirt that says “Have a Nice Day” I always end my vlogs with a “have a joanday” and it was similar/same meaning so I had to pick this one up.
This is also a Rag & Bone t-shirt; the lettering is not simply printed like normal shirt designs I really don’t know how to describe this, but it is a bit 3d and it feels soft So from Saks Fifth Off, these are the two shirts I purchased.
Next, I want to introduce the brand, Reformation. This brand is soooo California. I really like Reformation dresses and blouses And I actually bought a lot during this trip I’d say I shopped at Reformation almost as much as Bloomingdale’s.
So first, you guys have seen this top in my previous video, but it’s the Gisele Top. It has this adorable floral design I really liked the way my body looked after trying this on so I had to get it! Second, I have the Maple Top.
It’s a tight crop top and I like the long sleeves – flattering to my body The reason why I love reformation so much is because the clothes fit my body so nicely I actually uploaded a photo of me wearing this top on instagram and so many of you guys left nice comments so thank you so much!! The final piece from Reformation is the Jagger Jean.
I shared this in my April Favorites and I’ve been wearing these so often. They’re soft, stretchy, and I love the fit! I kind of regret not buying a lot of bottoms from Reformation, but I can always go back! I also really like the flared ends Definitely a style that I’ve been loving this spring! The final brand I want to introduce to you guys is Brandy Melville! I’ve been wearing Brandy Melville since college They’re clothes are so soft.
I love their basics, probably my favorite place to shop for basics. This grey crop trop It may look simple, but cute when you wear it. I noticed that Brandy Melville has a lot of “one size fits all”, similar to Style Nanda Everyone can pull it off Brandy Melville clothes differently and their concept is quite charming.
And finally, we have another top I wore in an instagram post. It’s this colorful longsleeve that says France on it. I really want to go to France. I like the simple designs on this shirt – very pretty! For those that are following my instagram already, you probably have seen a lot of these pieces, but I still wanted to film this haul.
So that’s it for my clothing haul! I actually picked up a lot of sunglasses from Urban Outfitters, but I am planning on filming a separate sunglass video *stay tuned* And for shoes… I actually bought a lot of shoes while I was in America.
The top half of one of my big luggages were all shoes But because I’ve been wearing them so often and they’re dirty, I didn’t want to bring all of them in here for this haul So check the description box for my joanday vlogs if you are curious about the shoes I’m wearing in whatever vlog you are watching So that’s it for today.
Please give this video a thumbs up if you found this helpful & enjoyable~ Please leave some comments for me to respond to and I’ll see you guys in my next video. Bye!
